Canteen Day is an annual day to celebrate Canteens across the ACT. Don’t forget to celebrate your canteen staff and volunteers this Canteen Day, Friday 3 November 2023.
Canteens contribute to a healthy food environment for our children at school. They juggle food safety and nutrition guidelines, whilst providing a low-cost food service to students. Canteen Day is a day to thank our canteen staff and volunteers, and to help them feel valued, appreciated, and inspired.

The daily efforts of our canteen staff and volunteers who support our school have been tremendous this year.
We should remember to say please and thank you every day, but on Canteen Day, Friday 3 November, we will say a very special thank you to this wonderful team. Our canteen provides a great service helping fuel our students learning each day.
So thank you and Happy Canteen Day!
