Fuelling Everybody Every Day (FEED)

Fuelling Everybody Every Day (FEED) is a practical and fun, food and nutrition education program. We use food play and experiential learning to help build a positive relationship with food.

FEED targets children and young people aged between 2-18 years who experience atypical eating behaviours. This includes:

Facilitated by an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and an Occupational Therapist (OT), specialising in Play Therapy, FEED uses an evidenced based approach to help children and young people living in the ACT. FEED provides fun hands-on food exposure experiences to help children build a healthy relationship with food. The aim is to increase participants dietary variability, with a focus on vegetables.

FEED has been designed for the following three age specific cohorts:

Children 6-12 years

Using Filial therapy approach, this program engages both the caregiver and child with a focus to build parent and child relationship.

Health Professionals

If you are a health professional who believes that a young person under your care would benefit from this program, a referral can be made using the referral form. The referral pathway has been created to help outline how the referral process will work.

Parents/caregivers
