Ingredients

Beef

  • 100g beef steak
  • ½ cup pumpkin
  • ½ zucchini

Lamb

  • 100g diced lamb
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 stick celery
  • 1 potato

Method

Beef

  1. Trim beef steak. Peel and dice pumpkin. Dice zucchini.
  2. Heat frypan and cook steak for 3-4 minutes on each side. Rest meat for 5 minutes.
  3. Steam pumpkin and zucchini or microwave for 3 minutes, or until soft.
  4. Slice meat into strips and add to a food processor or blender. Add cooked vegetables and blend until smooth.

Lamb

  1. Trim lamb. Peel and dice carrot. Slice celery. Peel and chop potato.
  2. Heat frypan and cook lamb for 5 minutes or until browned. Remove from heat.
  3. Add cooked lamb, carrot, celery and potato to a saucepan. Cover with 1 cup of water. Bring to the boil, reduce heat and simmer for 1½-2 hours or until very tender. 
  4. Transfer contents to a food processor and blend until smooth

Tips:

  • For a lumpier texture, partially blend and mash with a fork.
  • If required, add 1 tablespoon of boiled water to improve consistency
