We were so happy to see ACT Greens Johnathan Davis MLA motion calling on the ACT Government to ensure every ACT Public School has a school canteen that serves healthy food.
Our school canteens do not receive enough recognition and support for their incredible contribution towards the health and wellbeing of our kids. They play a crucial part in the fabric of a school community yet more and more schools are going without.
For over a decade, we’ve been tirelessly working alongside ACT public school canteens, advocating for healthier choices. We deeply understand the challenges faced, especially when managed by our dedicated volunteer P&C’s. 🙌💚
