Eat for Health Australian Dietary Guidelines

The Australian Dietary Guidelines have information about the types and amounts of foods, food groups and dietary patterns that aim to:
- promote health and wellbeing
- reduce the risk of diet-related conditions, such as high cholesterol, high blood pressure and obesity
- reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and some types of cancers.

ACT Healthy Schools Network

The Healthy Schools Network ACT is a collaboration of local not-for-profit organisations that actively promote health and wellbeing in act primary schools, secondary schools and the early childhood years. Our organisations can assist act school teachers and educators in many ways, including staff training, classroom resources, awareness tools, recognised programs, professional learning and general support.

National Healthy School Canteen Guidelines

The National Healthy School Canteen Guidelines and resources provide national guidance and training to help canteen managers across Australia to make healthier food and drink choices for school canteens. These guidelines build on activities of state and territory governments and encourage a nationally consistent approach to promoting healthy food through Australian school canteens.
