Yoghurt banana pops

This recipe meets the GREEN criteria in the ACT Government Healthy Food and Drink Choices Policy.
Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 2 bananas
  • 4 ice-cream sticks
  • 200g reduced fat yoghurt
  • ¼ cup finely chopped nuts

 

Method

  • Peel the bananas and cut bananas into half and insert an ice-cream stick half a way into each one.
  • Dip the bananas in reduced fat yoghurt and make sure it is evenly covered.
  • Roll in finely chopped nuts.
  • Place the coated bananas on wax paper, put on a tray in the freezer until frozen. (about an hour)
