Hawaiian Melt

Makes 1 melt

Choose wholegrain or wholemeal bread, english muffins, pita pockets or bagels.

1 tsp tomato paste, no added salt
1 slice (25g) lean ham
½ spring onion, choped 
¼ tomato diced
½ teaspoon dried mixed herbs 
20g reduced fat grated cheese


  1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
  2. Spread tomato paste over base. Add ham, spring onion, tomato and mixed herbs.
  3. Top with cheese and bake for 2 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling and lightly browned.
