Nourishing Little Minds

We’re excited to be partnering with Libraries ACT to deliver Nourishing Little Minds™!

Nourishing Little Minds™ puts a healthy spin on Story Time and Giggle and Wiggle helping children explore and enjoy healthy food

This engaging 4-week program aims to improve healthy eating habits for young children by making healthy food fun and enjoyable. Each of the 4 sessions will include a food based Story Time  followed by simple hands-on food experiences delivered by an Accredited Practising Dietitian from Nutrition Australia ACT.

Children will have fun exploring and tasting a range of healthy new foods whilst parents and carers pick up tips and ideas to help their children establish a healthy relationship with food and develop strong healthy eating habits at home.

We have two age appropriate programs available:

0-2 year old program – babies and toddlers explore books, songs and rhymes followed by exploration of new foods and textures.

3-5 year program – story time with a healthy spin followed by hands on food preparation activities that make healthy food fun and enjoyable.

Each session runs from 10:30am-11:30am at selected ACT libraries. Parents and carers are encouraged to book into all 4 sessions. Bookings are essential and places are strictly limited.
